At DM3 we are both product/service marketers and product designers. Our strong experience in brand strategy and brand management informs on all that we do. And speaking of marketing, video is worth its weight in gold in terms of SEO as well as helping a prospective customer get more intimate with your brand.. For this, we specialize in the production of videos to showcase products, services, company identity, product concepts, and UX/UI mock-ups that can aid you in your presentation to the public or your board.

SEO boost? Convention? Web content? Important funding pitch? Getting your message into a visually-consumable format can make things so much easier to get.

COMPANY IDENTITY/PROMOTIONAL VIDEOS

We truly enjoy creating corporate identity videos. Such a video can take so many formats and offers up myriad opportunities. The goal may be traditional and straightforward, exhibiting your company’s roots and suite of products. Check out some examples below:

Here is a more traditional corporate products/services video that blends in tradition and an emotional feel. The feature here is Portco Packaging, the premiere, flexible food packaging company east of the Mississippi River in the U.S.

Using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects and a GREAT voice actor, here is an inspirational video about what it is to be an IN-VEN-TOR. This video strategy was meant generate good will (and positive brand association) within the inventor/investor community.

PRODUCT CONCEPT VIDEOS

Product concept videos can be built to test out ideas and garner reactions very early in your timeline. Further, as your product model matures through the industrial design process, you may end up with some nice 3D assets that can be leveraged a number of different ways, including for use in a commercial, in training videos or in funding pitches.

In some cases, the rendering and animation of an idea in 3D is the entire goal. Many product concepts go very far in 3D alone, continually, visually iterating until the right design is arrived at. Such a process may be especially true if the project is large in format and has multiple parts and processes that need to be visualized for further planning.

While many of the videos we’ve produced are unable to be shared for privacy purposes, here are a few permitted examples:

Blending basic animation with Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, here is a product concept video prepared for Asurion, Inc. This product model largely ignores DFx rules to quickly test out a fabric covered housing in the home environment. Pictures of the physical version of this model can be seen in the Portfolio.

Using simple CAD animation, motion graphics done in After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro, this short “for web” video shows the installation of the Nuwal System - the most cost-effective, structural solution for basement and foundation repair.

JUST FOR FUN VIDEOS

This is a video I created just for fun to celebrate a great snowstorm we had. My dog Bella performed brilliantly!

This was a short music video I did for a song I wrote (on guitar) and had my old bandmate Mark sing to.

While not a product concept video (unless you think of toy makers), I worked with my daughter's 1st grade class to build a "fantasy playground." The class separated into 6 groups that came up with one idea each. I met with each group to design each item, refined them later, 3D printed them, and created this movie. Needless to say, I’ve been asked back again for her second grade class! So fun! This video highlights the 3D printing process.

Being brand strategists and marketers at heart, we’d enjoy building your next, important video. Whether it’s a 3-second clip to simply show how one part fits onto another, or a full production commercial meant for an upcoming web campaign, let’s get to work!
