These asymmetric keys allow for this custom-built PCB to be assembled only one way. No chance for a false placement. Part of DFx (Design for Excellence). Designing for efficient assembly can drastically reduce production costs.

ShadowBox 3D Sports Recorder

Dan Meyers got his second patent on this fully-potted, waterproof device that measures jump height, spin rates, g-forces and 3D path. This device was morphed into what is now the Xensr product.

This was a “bug” that was designed in my daughter’s second grade class (1 of 6 done over 2 days of CAD in the classroom!).
